Firefly beauty box is a foldable softbox and beauty dish?for shoe mounted speedlights.
With an optional deflector mounted on the centre pole, Firefly II turns into a perfect beauty dish and creates a nice round catch light in the subject’s eyes. In addition, the photographer can put a diffuser onto create a much more diffused light and softer shadows.

Firefly’s foldable and yet durable frame is carefully designed for hotshoe mounted flash users. Being portable and light weight, Firefly II is recommended for both indoor and outdoor portrait photography.

Robust and durable
The frame for the beauty box, adaptor and tilting bracket are made from durable aluminum and steel, so those make it robust enough for outdoor use.

Soft and evenly reflected light
Using the same silver lining as in Aurora’s quality softboxes the embossed surface reflects the light back and forth internally so that it becomes soft and not too harsh when it reaches the front. The flat front diffuser then softens the light even more.
Easy to set up and pack up
With one touch, it opens and closes like an umbrella. Be ready to use and go within seconds.
Silver or Gold internal deflectors
The 15cm silver deflector is sewn inside to the center front diffuser and eliminates any host spots. A front diffuser with a gold deflector is an optional extra for a warmer effect.
Light weight and handy
Complete with carry bag the total weight is only 1kg.
Height adjustable and rotatable tilt bracket
With rotatable tilt bracket, Firefly Beauty Box moves forward and backwards. The height of the bracket slider is also adjustable.
Sliding shoe

Optional deflector

The option deflector is designed for easy mounting. It is mounted on to the centre pole via a screw thread and thanks to the umbrella mechanism the Firefly II is also simple to assemble and pack up.
The embossed lining of the centre deflector creates even reflection which eliminates the potential for a hot spot. The diameter of the optional deflector is 15cm. The silver deflector will be released now and white one will follow soon.
