• Optimized for location shooting

Aurora Firefly is designed with one touch umbrella mechanisms that enables instant set up and break down. The very action of opening an umbrella is all one needs to perform to set up the Firefly XL. It will breakdown simply by pulling out the runner.

 

 

 

• Double diffusing baffles
Inner and outer diffuser included provides a double diffused light due to the fact that the light bounces of the diffusers back into the softbox and then out through the diffusers again on to the subject. This quality of light provides an excellent fill light for outdoor portraiture.

 

• Built-in adapter ring
Equipped with a built-in speedring, Firefly XL allows immediate shooting saving time to assemble softbox with speedring. FXL is available with the most popular light heads out in the market; Aurora/ Bowens, Hensel, Profoto, Multiblitz, Broncolor, and Balcar.

 

• Optional deflector

The DFS20 Silver Deflector ø 20cm, mounts on to the centre pole, bouncing light back into the inside of the softbox therefore eliminating a potential hot spot. It is quick and easy to set up and delivers perfect beauty dish lighting effect.

 

 

 

• Soft Grid

Hand crafted high quality soft grid is available for FXL 36.  It narrows down light spread to 40 degree.

 

 

 

• Easy to carry and store

Light weight umbrella mechanism and built-in speedring makes FXL slim and portable. Durable carrying bag equipped with is big enough to put every bits and pieces including optional accessories such as grids.

 

 

 

• Extra power

C Lux mounted in a Firefly reflector will allow you to see how your flash is going to play and where shadows would fall and provides extra power to your flash light.

For direct mount, just screw C LUX into the tap of center rod. The back of C LUX is silver colored which reflects the directional light from flash light. Backside works as deflector reducing hot spot.
