Among various models of Aurora softbox, 60 x 60cm (24”x24”) and 60 x 80cm (24’x32”) are ever popular for studio portrait shooting. Introducing portable and easy to carry Firefly XL in these sizes, we expect them a great use in outdoor portrait shooting,

An inner and outer diffuser are included in the Firefly XL that provide a double diffused light due to the fact that the light bounces of the diffusers back into the softbox and then out through the diffusers again on to the subject. This quality of light provides an excellent fill light for outdoor portraiture.

 

♦ Optional deflector

The DFS 20 Silver Deflector Ø20cm, mounts on to the centre pole, bouncing light back into the inside of the softbox therefore eliminating a potential hot spot. It is quick and easy to set up and delivers perfect beauty dish lighting effect.

 

♦ Easy Assembly and Pack Up

The design of the Firefly XL is incredibly user friendly. The umbrella mechanism makes assembling and packing up really easy. There are no more hassles with rods and speed rings. The very action of opening an umbrella is all one needs to perform to set up the Firefly XL.

 

♦ Masks and Soft Grids

Strip masks and soft grids are also available for Firefly XL. If you have a strip mask and soft grids for Aurora softboxes LBDR 66 and LBDR 68, they are compatible with FXL 66 and FXL 68 as well

 

♦ Built-in speedring

Equipped with a built-in speedring, Firefly XL allows immediate shooting saving time to assemble softbox with speedring. FXL is available with the most popular light heads out in the market; Aurora/bowens, Hensel, Profoto, Multiblitz, Broncolor and Balcar

 

♦ Easy to carry and store

Light weight umbrella mechanism and built-in speedring makes FXL slim and portable. Durable carrying bag equipped with is big enough to put every bits and pieces including optional accessories such as grids.
