WAG FLAG WITH BREAKDOWN STAINLESS FRAME

When shooting space is limited, Aurora wag flag is ideal as reflector, light cutter, and diffuser. Storage requires much smaller space also than regular size flags or overhead frames.

Feature

Aurora Wag Flag frame is light weight and durable made with military grade 304 stainless steel pipt. The 15cm x 61cm frame welded with a 3/8” grip pin is a basic unit and by adding up another frame or modules in the same size to the end, either 4’ long or 6’ long frame can be instantly built up. It fits to any industrry standard 3/8” grip head fine.

8 kinds of sewn material are offered; Black/White a.k.a. Ultrabounce, Black/Black light cutter, Silver/White reflector, 2.5stop Magic Diffuser K, 1.5 stop soft diffuser, 1/2 stop grid diffuser, 1/4 stop grid diffuser, and 1/8 stop grid diffuser.

For 4’ wag frame, both 4’ x 4’ and 4’ x 8’ sewn materials are available and for 6’ wag frame, 6’ x 6’ materials are available. Sewn material length can be customized upon request.

Two pockets are located on top and bottom. Top is for a frame insertion and bottom is for a counterweight pipe but as they are in the same size, vice versa is fine.

Cloth
Top and bottom pockets in the fabric cover allow quick insertion of metal frame and counterweight pipe or another frame. Length of sewn fabric can be customized upon customer’s request.
	Black/White Aurora black/white cloth is light weight and two sided. A matte black side blocks light, good for negative fill and light cutting while a white side bounces light to create even and soft light and to reduce hot spot.
	Silver/White No need to choose silver or white as it is two sided with both silver and white reflection. Good for portrait shooting and interview and many other purposes.
	Black/Black Nylon 100% black material features ultra-light weight. It weighs 30% less than Velvet and 70% less than cotton while masking property is the same. Black/black material blocks light completely and an ideal gobo to control your light fall.

Light Reduction

Light reduction is described in stops. Higher the figure is more light is reduced while diffusion is greater. Choose according to your need among silk, grid cloth, vinyl, and other cloths.

Light reduction can be estimated according to how clearly the palm is seen through.

Light Intensity and Color Temperature
Below table shows cct and intensity of scrim cloths along with witdth

Intensity and CCT are measure under the same condition for comparison with different cloths. Light source is AURORA 1000S LED light equipped with a reflector and 4-leaf barndoor. Each cloth was cut and attached to a paper frame for barndoor slot.

Carrying Bag

Optional carrying bag protects wag flag from dust and moisture and it stores one flag either setup or brokendown and up to two fabric covers.
