Cloudtube is an inflatable cylinder softbox compatible with 3 diffrent size of LED tube light:

 

CT60 designed to use with 55cm(2’) LED Tube; Compatible with: Aesta Helios, Science X-fade 2’

CT120 designed to use with 105~120cm(4’) LED tube; Compatible with: Astera Titan and Quarsar Science X-fade 4’.

CT240 designed to use with 220~240cm(8’) LED Tube; Compatible with: Astera hyperion and Quarsar Science X-fade 8’.

 

Featuring sewn Velcro straps with buckle and flip cover, Cloudutbe blocks light spill through or around top cover. Black mask allows you to control light fall. To minimize light loss while maximize light diffusion, Aurora’s unique white bounce material in combination with 1/8 diffusion materials are chosen after multiple tests.

50° optional softgrid is designed not to sag either at horizontal or at vertical position. Metal rods comes complete keep the grid straight up at all position of CLOUDTUBE.

It is ideal to use with two led tubes in parallel and to do so an optional double holder is needed. A single tube is also fine to use with.

Features
1. Velcro strap with buckle

No need to worry about losing Velcro straps. 6 Velcro straps with buckle are sewn to the top flip cover and they securely lock either single or double led tubes. Fastening is easier through buckle and it locks a wide range of LED tubes in different diameters. Two straps are sewn in a short distance in the center to secure led tube holder and then two on the left and the other two on the right toward the ends.
2. Minimal light loss

1/8 stop diffusing material is chosen for CLOUDTUBE to minimize light loss and soft diffusion. Aurora’s unique black/White reflector with a high reflection ratio is used for top cover for evenly bounced light.
3. Sewn cover to block light spill

Flip cover is wide and long enough to block light spill.
4. Masking skirt

Aurora black/black material is much lighter than Velvet or cotton but blocks light as much as conventional masking materials. Skirt is composed of two pieces which mounts to the softbox to Velcro fasteners.
5. Carrying Bag

All bits and pieces come complete in a carrying bag. Optional softgrid is packed in a flat bag and it can put a spacious CLOUDTUBE’s bag together.
6. Softgrid

Two secret recipes we have to keep the softgrids straight up.

  1. Metal rods are to be inserted to front and back borders.
  2. Plastic sheets are built in both top and bottom sides.
